Don’t suffer alone….
Discovering you or a someone you love has breast cancer is a devastating experience, and is your own personal journey. Sharing your thoughts and emotions during this time can be very empowering and therapeutic! There are people who are willing and able to help you cope with this life changing event. Family and friends are usually willing to go above and beyond to help in these circumstances. Various organizations and events are in place to serve as a catalyst for those suffering from breast cancer. Don’t be afraid to utilize these resources.

This is a wonderful support group that offers emotional support with group counseling for cancer patients and their families, nutrition classes, yoga classes.
Cleaning for a Reason http://www.cleaningforareason.org/
This is a fabulous non-profit that will come and clean your house for free while you are going through chemo-therapy!
Face in the Mirror http://www.faceinthemirror.org/
They are are beautiful group of women who bring beauty back into the lives of all cancer patients. They assist with wigs and make-up and so much more for cancer patients.
If you are in the Phoenix, Az. area you can contact The Arizona Institute of Breast Health. http://www.aibh.org/ They are a local non-profit organization who offers a woman who has been diagnosed with breast cancer a second opinion, completely free of charge.

I am Holly Rose, the founder of Don't be a Chump! Check for a Lump! I discovered I had breast cancer at the age of 39 after being reminded on Facebook to perform a self-breast exam. I was very fortunate in finding my cancer in the early stages and was able to save my breasts and, more importantly, my life.
